Will tinted eyeglasses affect the way I look at colors?

I just ordered a pair of tinted glasses that is 20% grey. Will it make me see things darker when it comes to colors? I've never had a tinted glasses before.

Update:

I'll show you how I look when I get it David. You'll be jealous.

Being a grey tint, it won't affect color perception . Colors will still look the same color , but won't be as bright as in reality.

But, those glasses will probably make you look like you haven't been getting much sleep.

If they're only tinted 20%, I imagine the color difference won't be drastic, but you won't be seeing everything in the same colors as everyone else, either. You'll probably notice it the most when you're in bright sunlight.

A quality tint shouldn't change colors at all - apart from reducing the overall intensity.

If you buy some cheap sunglasses they can do funny things to your color perception - including changing the color of traffic lights.
