Why does god make no sense at all? Version 2.0?
Okay, so i am supposed to believe that our world was miraculously made from a gigantic explosion that somehow formed wonderful planets and created life that eventually evolved into perfect, symmetrical (in some cases), intelligent beings (in some cases)?
Or am i to believe that God, a supreme being of unquestionable power willed himself into existence( or was somehow always there) and started creating life? But not before he made evidence of a big bang for us to question him? Neither of these things make sense with what i have been taught.
And if i have a little belief in both of these things what does that make me? Because i am definitely not a (Haha) Smoking, drinking, christian cursing Atheist. And i am not an Atheist cursing Christian.
Rawr, these things both confuse and infuriate me too much.
Apparently they didn't find it too hard, Kitteh. Perhaps your an idiot?

What is this de je vous all over again?
It is unwarranted to assert that somebody made evidence of a big bang if there is no real evidence of a big bang.
I really don't see the quandary. Which is more consistent with what we have observed in the world
A large complex organized system popping into existence randomly with no underlying cause.
A large complex organized system being the caused by some intelligent agency.
One need not go any further than a corner store to see examples of complex organized systems that were the result (caused by) of some intelligent agency (Man made stuff). Can you provide any examples of complex organized systems being observed to pop into existence spontaneously with no underlying cause?

I think God created the universe but in a way that we can see. That is, God put the pieces in place, the laws of physics, chemistry and biology which told atoms how to come together properly and form planets, stars, galaxies, creatures, organisms etc... and God supplied another key ingredient too - the energy for the big bang which allowed everything to work properly.
The big bang theory is real - but not limited to scientists to believe. Neither is evolution because who is to say that God didn't use those things to create the universe? And if you wish to question the 7-day creation of the universe in the bible, remember that God is immortal and thus time is of no consequence - so 1 day could mean 1000 years or even 1000000 centuries - it doesn't matter.

First of all, it's important to understand what it is you are rejecting or accepting before you do so.
The Bible teaches that God was not created and did not will himself into existence. He has always been and always will be. He is not bound by time and space because he created both, and they are both subject to him.
God did not create evidence of the Big Bang. The Big Bang theory is man's attempt to examine the evidence and toss God out of the equation. The Bible says that all of Creation is evidence of God--that Creation reveals his invisible qualities and divine nature if we simply pay attention, but if we choose to kick God out at the beginning and examine everything through a narrow, Godless lens, we will see what we see, but we will miss the point. That's not God's fault.
So then, why did God create us, allow us free will, and then ask us to choose to believe, by faith? That is the million dollar question. Why does God allow so many to not choose him? There are a lot of complex theories, but the truth is, that no one understands the heart and mind of God, but God. His ways are not our ways. That too, I accept on faith.
Blessings.

i mean if you think about it, God creating the earth and everything in it makes sense. it had to be created, things dont just appear. the sun isnt the perfect distance from the earth by coincidence. nor all the little details about how our bodies work or how humans have feelings for one another. god made it that way. not by an explosion or for no reason at all. it may be hard to believe but i believe it.

God never intends to "make sense". He's God, and He created things the way He wanted to, whether us poor semi-literate human beings understand it or not. And if you "have a little belief in both of these things", that just makes you a "fence-straddler", and nothing more.
God, as in our loving and living Lord Jesus our Christ, Bless you always.

just because you can't understand God doesn't mean God is not there...why don't you tell me...since prior to the big bang...time, space, and matter did NOT exist...so what ever caused the big bang does not need time, space, nor matter to exist...is powerful to create the big bang...is intelligent to create the universe and its laws...what would you call that first cause if not God...its your choice...but blaming others for your belief or disbelief you seem to want to absolve yourself from the responsibility of accepting your choice...make your own choice and not worry what others think...
