Using condoms for the first time?
I have never used condoms, but my new girlfriend is not on the pill, so I have to use them now. 2 problems: 1) when I try to put one on, half was down it kind of gets stuck. Is it too small? 2) I have trouble keeping the erection while trying to put the condom on. Any suggestions?
Thanks for the responses. I might try a bigger size, I think I am a bit bigger than average.
Couple ppl suggested I might be putting it on inside-out. How do I tell which is the right side?

1. How big are you? Personal question, I know, but if you're anywhere within the normal range of size, you shouldn't have to go to a larger size. If it's getting "stuck", there's a chance you're trying to put it on inside-out. The condom should unroll down the length of your penis, quite easily. If it's getting stuck, you may be trying unroll it inside-out. Problematic, and also puts any spermicide on the condom on the wrong side of the latex to be effective.
2. Keeping the erection can be a bit tough, although I am guessing you are young (ish?), so you should have plenty of stamina. Make sure you've got a strong erection before you go for the condom, and have it close at hand... nothing kills the mood like rooting around in a drawer for three minutes looking for your trusty Trojans. When in doubt, practice, practice, practice! Condoms are not so expensive that this will cost you anything, and it's something you DEFINITELY want to do right- the difference between a condom properly applied and one improperly applied can be as great as a baby.
3. Hope this helps. There are tons of good sources out there for condom use and application; I'll attach a few that I think are good. Have fun!

get your girlfriend to put it on for you, you won't have trouble with the erection then.. & unless ur bigger than a Scandinavian Sausage it should fit fine, jst make sure you roll it down all the way to the base & leave some space for the ejaculation

Practice. It's supposed to be tight. Keep a little extra condom loose at the tip. Have her put it on for you.

what kind of condoms are you using, i know when i first used condoms i used savage pleasure, and they wouldn't work well, but now i use ribbed for her pleasure trojans and those seem to work much better, try out different brands before you get magnums

Get a bigger condom, either way you must use one, regardless if it gives you pleasure or not.

Practice alone. It's supposed to be tight, you don't want it to come off during intercourse.
