What is your favorite shot when golfing?

Mine is when I am under a tree and I need a low shot to get out. Mine, I get my 9 wood, choke down with the ball in the middle of my stance and just do a sharp 'slap shot'. Ball stays low but goes a long way to get me out of trouble. I play in a league and nearly every lady who I play with will ask how to do it.

Update:

I agree getting under the trees is not a good thing, but it happens. When it does, I enjoy the challenge of getting the ball out without hitting a limb or the tree. That happens, too.

The favorite shot should be not getting under the tree in the first place. From the teeing ground being able to hit a slight draw or fade depending on the place where you want to hit the second shot from is quite satisfying. After scumming a shot, an excellent recovery resulting in a par is satisfactory. There is nothing wrong with hitting that fine fairway wood on a par 5 to the proper position for a great 3rd shot setting up the birdie. Any good golf shot is a favorite.

Mine would have to be when I have crushed a drive on a short par 4 and I am sitting like 75-100 yards from the green. Ideally, an elevated green. Then I take out the lob or gap wedge and hit a nice arching shot landing close to the cup (hopefully). But being in the fairway and striking it clean with a short wedge is a great feeling.

My favorite golf shot is a long 35-65 ft. putt over an uneven (uphill then downhill) green with a side slope.

This shot is always so fun for me because it reminds me of playing pool, and picking a line that will have the ball end in the hole/pocket. I love when the ball goes left/right curves and slows down just as it drops in the hole for "One of those shots that keep you coming back." It is especially nice when the green has mist on it, and you can see the balls' line of travel from impact to the hole.

Of course it is always nice when that putt is a birdie- tweet- tweet.

Pounding my pitching wedge over the small lake onto the green in the small 140 yd par 3 hole in my home course.
