I crave meat at almost every meal, am I missing something in my diet that causes this?

And don't say im missing meat, because I eat plenty of meat, its just that like say I get up in the morning, I can't eat cereal, it has to be something like a sausage biscuit.

You'll find that there are a lot of people who feel like you do. It's not uncommon. Yes, it could mean you are lacking in certain nutrients like protein or iron. That's not always the case. Be sure you are taking a multivitamin and practicing balanced nutrition. It could also be your subconscious and somewhere along the way you've associated a true meal contains meat. Or it could simply be nature at work... Omnivores consume plant/animals as a primary food source and are designed for both. So, if you're getting the nutrients you need I'm hearing nothing to be alarmed about.

    Possibly Iron?

Source(s): that's what I crave when my iron is low!
