What could cause fluttering movements in lower abdomen?

These have been going on for 3 days now. I have been on birth control for 6 months after having my son 7 months ago. The flutters feel like the movements in early pregnancy and it's all in my lower abdomen. I have been having my period like clockwork for the past six months and just had a period a week ago so doubtful it could be that. What could be causing these fluttering sensations? Has anyone else had this? Thanks!

I just had my son 4 months ago and I also have a 2 year old. I have had this after each delivery. They are most likely "phantom kicks". Its just your body's natural movements inside. You are more likely to notice them now because you noticed your baby kicking. Its just a sensation you are not tuned into before you become a mother

You can still get your period while your pregnant. Most likely you should purchase a pregnancy test (common sense says). Sometimes when irregular, women's cycle lengths vary — some have a 24-day cycle, some have a 34-day cycle. In between the gas and poop lol take a trip to the pharmacy store. Rite aid, CVS, Walgreen's, K-mart, walmart etc. Take a pregnancy test mami. That's more important. You wanna care for your body the way you should so you dont do anything to harm the "baby". Now if you don't care if you are or not and u wont get in trouble for it then don't take a test...You seem young. No offense. Plus it would be too early in the pregnancy to feel the baby moving girl lol. unless your overweight and cant tell. no offense again. IF U STILL HAVE PROBLEMS SEE A DOCTOR!!!!!!
