What do you mean by you don't like to write?

    As in novels or articles?

I guess journalist and author is out of the question already.

What about a teacher or an English home tutor?

My sister has 2 children and another on the way and she's an English tutor. She teaches at her own house, so is around her youngest child all day and can still do the chores around the house. Flexible hours if you have children and you can charge what you like. My sister charges £70 an hour.

The preceding answers said everything I wanted to say, and of course I totally agree to the suggestions they made. A degree is not to be wasted. That said, I think you should research each different type of job you could get with this degree and choose which one you would like to do. I tend to go for the teaching part of it. Opportunities await you. I don't know which one will pay more, so make sure when considering the pay scale you also factor in the happiness scale.

You could go back to school to get a teaching credential and become a middle or high school english teacher.

I'm guessing that you like to read, which doesn't really offer many job possibilities. Literary agents and editors do a lot of reading, but they also do a lot of writing, and publishing is a difficult field to break into.

Having a college degree (any college degree) helps you get all kinds of jobs. So maybe you want to decide what kind of work you might like to do and pursue that.

i think of this relies upon on what you go with to do sooner or later. If writing is your suited aim, then i could say having imaginitive writing as a area area of the degree could be considerable. on my own English lit. says you ought to write and examine properly in English. are you able to photograph what you ought to do after the degree? perchance you ought to touch skill employers to ask them what they provide theory to the "extra advantageous" degree. you are able to actual try this anonymously. i've got self assurance I made the incorrect decision, so please do think of heavily! besides, stable success!
