Sarah and Todd Palin to get divorced? Is this true? Where's the sanctity of their marriage?

interesting. i'm gonna try to dig up the bloggers (all alskans) i used for info on her during the election and see what they have to say about it.

BIG FAT EDIT: so i was at politico.com, reading an article about this, and they sited a blog called The Immoral Minority as the source of all of these rumors. Everyone is pretty much accepting that this is not a true story by now, but heres the thing: The blogger behind The Immoral Minority happens to be pretty damn good at his research. he was one of the best sources for compiling others research and producing his own on Palin when she was versed named as VP candidate. he is easy for a lot of people to dismiss because of a few of his views, but if he is still doing good work, then this i think we might see this happen pretty soon. check out his site and see what you think.

Yet again, some so-called journalists have decided to make up a story. There is no truth to the recent “story” (and story is the correct term for this type of fiction) that the Palins are divorcing. The Palins remain married, committed to each other and their family, and have not purchased land in Montana (last week it was reported to be Long Island).

Less than one week ago, Governor Palin asked the media to “quit making things up.” We appreciate that the more professional journalists decided to question this story before repeating it.

I always cheer up immensely if an attack is particularly wounding because I think, well, if they attack one personally, it means they have not a single political argument left.

I don't like Palin's politics, but I have never wished her any personal ills. How sad, if it's true. I don't know how reputable a source AlaskaReport is.

One thing, though, if the Palins really started parting ways because of allegations they read in the National Enquirer, they're both idiots.

Christians (and Republican) leaders often don't see the disconnect between their words and their actions. Christians and Republican voters often don't notice that their leaders talk the talk but don't walk the walk. This is why we so often see the most moral-speaking Republican congressmen getting involved in sex scandals, anti-gay politicians turning out to be gay, etc. Dan Quayle, at the time the GOP's prime spokesman for Pro Life, once told an interviewer that if his daughter told him she was pregnant and getting an abortion, he'd counsel her against it but in the end he would accept her decision.

This is one reason the rate of divorce, abortion, unmarried pregnancy, alcoholism and drug addiction, etc., is higher in red states.

I feel kind of sorry for her kids, the media will have a field day with this one! Their mum chose to be in the national spotlight but they didn't...
