What would have happened if Jesus had not died?
Many Christians believe that the Jews killed Jesus. Or more factually, that they got the Romans to do it.
What if they failed to do it. Jesus was released by the Romans, and was once more free to preach. What then? Does he grow old and die? The rises from the grave and then all the other stuff? Does he fight the Romans in the revolution in 72 CE? What happens?
And if in fact G-d made the Jews convince the Romans to kill Jesus, was it then the Jews fault?

if jesus had actually existed, which he didn't, the romans would have executed him without consulting the jews or caring what they thought about the matter, just as they did to many real false messiahs.
the new testament can be proven false just on the basis of the trial. it has many factual errors, but the worst is the idea that a roman official would consult the local authorities on the prosecution of a seditionist.

If they had failed, then no, i don't think that Jesus would have died, because he was sinless. He would have had to have been forced to die.
And yeah, that's another good question. They had free will, so it was the fault of these particular Jews that he had to die, but God knew that they would choose this, so it was part of His plan. It's like with Judas; He choose to betray Jesus, and God, even Jesus at that time, knew he would do it.
God knows our hearts and what choices we will make, but it is still us who makes those choices.

from birth jesus was meant to die. he was meant to be killed by his own people so he can take on our sins.
if he didnt die, say when the devil approached him and told him to step down from the cross, he couldve easily done it, cmon its jesus we're talking about
but this was gods will..
god made us and told us that we have a free will, we can do anything we choose to.
but jesus had to finish gods will. he was his promised child.
the jews still do not believe in jesus, bc they think he is not their messiah. jews will only find this out when jesus comes to rapture his church, hence all the born again christians and the jews are left behind. only then they will realize who jesus truly is. then god will help his people, israeal, hence jews

He wouldn't have been able to release his holy ghost into the population, no telling what the effects of that would have been.
No, it was the Romans that killed him, and they should apologize,

Then Salvation would've been for nothing!! (Death would be inevitable for all!) There would be no Redemption from sin and eventually we ALL would be condemned on those crosses or some other form of punishment!! Thank God He DID die on the Cross! <')))><

I think he would have grown old and lost peoples respect, cause old people like that are always thought of as senile.

I think the Christan's would have had to stone him to death, as the bible said he had to die, and we can't change the bible just for that.
