"Customer.notification@visa.com" & "3726" as blank txt message senders?
Anyone know what "customer.notification@visa.com" or "3726" as txt message senders are from or why i got em? I have a Tmobile G1 and just got both of these texts back-to-back. Both had blank text bodies. Called Tmobile and they haven't ever heard of them. Any confirmed info on this? I have possible ideas, but don't know for sure. thanx!

Its definitely a scam. Its not just a G1 problem either as I have a Blackberry and received one as well. But from the number 3865. Best to treat it just like a spam e-mail. If it really was a problem, my bank knows how to reach me. And its certainly not by a poorly-worded text message with no information. Be aware. If you think its fake, it probably is. This goes for most things in life

It's a fraud scam that wasn't perfected until they sent me a text message at 3:21 p.m. today. Mine had a text body stating it was a "Card Block Alert" and to call 1-877-245-1472 to find out why I rec'd the message. I called and stupidly gave my card info to an automated machine. Once they had the info they said "Your card has now been activated" and the call was terminated. I knew immediately it was a scam from there and promptly canceled my card. I've also contacted T-Mobile to report the scam and they are supposed to contact me again within 24 hours to get all the details. Hopefully they'll get a warning out to all T-Mobile customers telling them NOT to respond to similar messages.

i just got the same message with a Card Block Alert and a 1-877 phone number to call. Called it and they want me to enter the card number. Well, I have a few different card numbers and it doesn't say which one and I'm not entering any credit card number over some automated system. I think it's a scam. Watch out!!!

I just got the "To find out why you receive this alert call 1-877-________" message. It came from the short code 3765.
