How do i prove my Manager should have been terminated too? I told my manager i had a fire, he asked for proof.?

When i didn't get the proof, he gave my l personal address to his friend whom works for the fire department. Even when i told him not to give it him, then he used the information to fire me, Saying he questioned my integrity, heck i question his. What can I do?

1st, it depends on what state you live in.

Many states allow employees to be terminated for any reason.

If you live in one, then you will have a hard time getting your job back.

2nd, this sounds like just revenge.

If you really had a fire, then supplying proof should have been easy.

If you really had a fire, and the fire department lied about this -- you might be able to sue the department and/or the person who gave the information to your boss.

Whether or not you had a reason, it sounds like you and the boss were not getting along anyway. Eventually some other reason would come up, and he would have sacked you anyway. Maybe a union hearing - if you have one - is one way you can go.

If you have proof that your boss did something illegal, then you won't want to work there anyhow. If you do have proof - notify the police or the department that supervises your job

(if you are a telemarketer, notify FCC.. if you sold food, notify board of health.. if you worked in a hospital, notify insurance commissioner or board of public heath.. etc)

Now - this is not going to help get your job back any time soon.

If you get a lawyer, and if you really do have proof about your boss being a crook and they can convict him/her, then you can sue as a "whistleblower" and after 2-3 or more years of courts and lawyers, you might get a settlement and possibly your job back.

Meanwhile, you need to think about priorities, and work at getting your own next job & next paycheck. Don't let your anger about this hold you down. NEVER talk about this in a negative way at your future job interviews. New employers don't want to hear that you couldn't get along with supervisors - or that you might have integrity problems. Don't try to "spin" this.. just say that you didn't fit there, and it was time to move on. OR something reasonably adult and not negative.

Did you or did you not have a fire? Your integrity and word must have been in question long before this latest excuse.

I don't think there is much you can do, maybe start looking for a new job. BTW did you really have a fire?

There is nothing you can do. If you didn't have a fire, and lied about it, that is reason enough for him to terminate you.
