umm, well usually the judge will say something dumb like 150 years to life, and since the guys immortal he will be out in 150 years. so bascially thats nothing to him.

I imagine laws would need to be altered in the event of somebody being immortal.
It would depend on what the court sees as a reasonable time for punishment/rehabilitation.
I would hope, if the crime's bad enough for this immortal being to be put in jail for "life"
they'd put them in a 10'x10' box underground so no taxpayer dollars need to be spent on them.

Life in prison is 120 years. So he would be jailed for 120.

No, because technically life in prison is a set number of years and after they are served, he would be released on parole. But if he was sentenced to life without parole, I supposed he would be in prison indefinitely.
