Madden 10 Ratings 1111?
I think that the Madden 10 overall team ratings are kind of messed up. The Patriots are the best team in the game, but they didn't even make the playoffs. Also, the Steelers are better than the Eagles and Giants, both of whom they lost to. Also, how are the Chargers an 88 with a mediocre 8-8 season? The Patriots got destroyed by the Dolphins, who went 1-15 the previous year, yet the Patriots are 16 points better. The Broncos won 3 more games than the Raiders, yet they are still lower than them, even with Brian Dawkins? How are the Titans the 5th best team with the best record in the league last year? How are the Panthers a mediocre 83 with the second best record in the league last year? There are some serious rating flaws in this game that need to be fixed!

its becuase they're bias. the ravens, who made the afc champ game, only got a 82 overall......WTF!!.

It goes by total team talent, not just last years records. The coyboys were the highest rated team last year, and haven't won a playoff game in over a decade. The Pats are the best team in the game due to the talent on the team, and the fact that they are the preseason favorite to win it all this year. The Giants were not a great team last year without Burress, and don't deserve to be ranked very high due to Eli's mediocrity and the lack of WR talent. The Broncos lost their Star QB, and have arguably the leagues worst defense. And the Chargers, were banged up all year last season and still off'd the Colts who are a perrienal contender. And the Dolphins were a average team, who used mainly smoke and mirrors all season - and benefitted from a cake walk schedule (did you not see them against the Ravens in the playoffs). Simply put, Madden is based upon overall team talent and potential.

it depends on team talent. That's why the cowboys will prolly be a great team rating without making the playoffs the previous year. It's about overall talent not actual record the previous year

dolphins had injured RB, O-Line, QB, DE, MLB, CB, SS and no good WR 2 years ago they did great last season and went 11-5!
The BRONCOS lost their starting QB Jay Cutler!!!!!!!!!
They lost the best DT EVER Albert Haynesworth!

The ratings doesn't depend on their previous year record. It depends on the overall of each person on the team.
