Photoshop CS4 Crop Tool only selecting squares?
Hello People :)
I try selecting a rectangle section in my work to crop, but the crop tool will not allow me to do so.
It only allows me to select a perfect square shape.

Zire gave you the answer to the perpetual bounding box.
As for the crop tool - just look above the workspace - you have the width and height set to 50cm (as square). Just hit the Clear button off to the right side and you'll get back to normal crop settings.
I'm impressed - that's definitely the right way to ask a Photoshop question on YA ;-)

On the option var tool you have selected the "Show Transformation controls" enabled, just disable and enjoy.
