How many of your violation appeals here at R&S have actually been overturned in your favor?

After countless appeals, I have just gotten my first deleted answer reposted and it has rekindled my faith that there IS justice in the world.

Seeing as the Y!A employee who handled the appeal was a smart, kind, and obviously highly desirable female, can someone tell me what the guidelines are for possibly asking her out on a date are?

Because I really think Cupid has got me good this time...

Update:

The Nolte - LOL! Your not the first one who's said that my friend. My hair used to be MUCH longer (down my back) and I'd get called Jesus Christ all the time.

Update 2:

Umm..Lucy?

That Y!A employee meant nothing to me.

Wanna go see a movie sometime or something?

Update 3:

To whoever is thumbing everything down - I'd just like to know why you do it and how it makes you feel. Empowered? Vindicated? What? Thanks for your input..

Update 4:

Brian, good point there..

Update 5:

BILBO! - Your philosophy is most refreshing!

And I do so enjoy your questions..

Update 6:

(((STAR))) - You know, I think I actually got my monkey suspended. I can be pretty good with words when I want to be. If you got one, just lemme at 'em..

Oh, and those other girls? They meant nothing to me. You know you're the only one for me..

The Passenger - Thank You!

Update 7:

Audra - Words to live by..

(Are You Hoo I THINK you are?)

    Hey there Propreno!

I have had one. I just wanted to know why...but they don't really give you a definite answer any way.

After that I haven't really cared one way or the other..I did not repeal the one about the long tail cat in a room full of rocking chairs.

You had an excellent answer. I was going to give you best answer then it was deleted because someone reported it.

I am not here to worry why.I am here to ask and enjoy life with my fellow humans. Many rain on the parade, but I keep marching on.

With a few quaffs once in a while of course!

Peace and prosperity to you Dear Propreno!

All of them -the guide lines are pretty easy to follow sometimes i think what you[and I] may answer /question offends people so they report not validly .How far are you from San Fransisco(Y/A headquarters location)It does seem you are truly smitten -nothing in the guidelines about dating an employee -try Y/personals Maybe a "desperately seeking smart, kind, and obviously highly desirable Y/A appeals handler" will fall into the right hands and make your dream come true -I wish you the best of luck

If Yahoo deletes it, I don't usually bother, seems like too much trouble, and I probably deserved it anyway.

If someone reports me, I always appeal it. Most of the time it's reinstated. I figure nothing to loose, it's just one mouse click, and do points really mean anything?

I've been here a couple of years, and had my account suspended because those who do not like my political and religious viewpoints unfairly reported me time after time. It was a horrible experience, and appeals were worthless.

On this account I have had maybe 16 violation notices, and half of them have been restored when I appealed.

  • How do you think about the answers? You can sign in to vote the answer.
  • I don't even bother, as most of The Nolte's VNs are probably completely justified. (damn Report Monkeys)

I wouldn't jump to the conclusion that anyone on the Yamster staff comes even remotely close to embodying the definition of "desirable". You might wanna try a Christian Single's website. Given your striking resemblance to the typical artistic depiction of Jesus, I think you'd score often, my friend.

I only broke the rules once and was immediately banned for telling a person to "Go stand in front of oncoming trafffic." I guess I did something wrong, so I didn't bother trying to appeal it. It still says my account is only suspended, but apparently they mean suspended indefinitely.

I've never had an actual VN that got overturned.

However, on those ones that say "Your answer was reported by the Yahoo Answers Community" (those are the ones where a top ranking reporter tells on you and has it automatically removed), I have had about 80% of those reposted.

Hmmph. I see how you work buddy.

Well beside that, I lost my level 5 account, appealed and had it overturned. I wonder if I were to get killed again (since I hit level 6) if I could claim double jeopardy and kill whoever took me out?

    About 50%.

Most times Vot is too lazy to appeal. I can make up for the lost points in 5 minutes =P

Not one. Never, ever have I had a successful appeal. I stopped appealing months and months ago.

But yeah for you. Seriously, I mean that. I'm glad you got one. :)
