B&A: Are you friends with your contacts on any other sites?

I'm friends with Joshms and Shelby Shazam in real life. And, yes, I was friends with them *before* I knew they used Y!A. It was a happy coincidence that we found each other here. Or it was that one of us was talking about it and we told each other, which really isn't very coincidental at all. But, you know.

Edit: And, yeah, I'm like Shelby on this one. I'd love to meet my contacts, and I want to trust that they are who they say they are, but then you never really know. That's why I don't want my personal information out there, email included. But I have made a lot of good friends through B&A, and I really do consider them friends. Lately, I've felt a little lost- I haven't really seen some of them around *coughOriginandArabesquecough* and it's making me a bit sad :(

I'm only friends with one of my contacts in real life, and I happen to come across a RL friend of my boyfriends on here as well.

I don't have a myspace or facebook, so it's just Y!A for me. I have Y!M usually up in the evenings, and would love to chat with people! I wish I could meet my contacts too. At the very least know a thing or two about them outside of whatever online thing we're using, especially what they look like. But I can't very well be creeping asking people for their pictures, now can I?

No, I dont. I have communicated with some of my contacts through email. And, about some I know where they are from - USA< Europe or, Asia. But thats pretty much it. Yes, for a handful I know their age group and for a handful I have their email IDs. But thats pretty much. (I am NOT a stalker - you get some info when you stay here long enough).

I would absolutely love to meet my contacts. Especially, a few of them. They are cool and sweet and helpful. Not to mention, knowledgeable. It would be a great thing to see or meet them. I wonder how different they would be from what I imagined them to be!

I know pretty much everyone in my contacts in my email...they are all my friends in real life..but I only know one person on Y!A in real life, the other (say about 100?) contacts on Y!A I just saw them on here.

Well, there's Alex, but I live with her, so that doesn't count.

Oh, and I have a friend from school on here. But apart from that, Yahoo Q&A is how I talk to them. :)

EDIT: Actually, I made a friend on this site a few years back. He's from UK, and is currently backpacking around Aus. We talk on Facebook all the time. He likes to pay me out about liking Harry Potter.

Two of them I know in real life, one i email back and forth, and the rest i talk to on Yahoo messenger.

I am friends with a few of my contacts in Mugglespace, but not as great as my Y!A friends :)

I have one friend that I know in real life on here (my bestie) , but she is only here because I persuaded her to join Y!A LOL I don't think she's that interested with it.....yet.....I'll have to work on it.

Y!A is such a cult.
