Do you know the name of this movie?
In the early 80's I remember watching a movie horror movie that its driving me crazy I can't remember the name.
I remember very little about it so i'm sorry the details are sketchy.
it involved a woman trapped in a house. There was a portrait by the front door of the outside of the house. The picture changed constantly and would show what was going on at that time outside. One time she'd look at the picture and there was a coffin coming out of the ground. Next time she looked at the picture there was something crawling out of the coffin. The very last scene I remember whatever had been in the coffin was on the front steps getting ready to knock on the door, then you heard someone knock.
Its been over 15yrs since i've seen that movie so again i'm sorry there's not more details i can give.
Would love to know the name of this movie if you can help.
Thanks!
Thank you, that was it!

Night Gallery pilot episode (1969 TV movie)
IMDb synopsis:
In the pilot of the television series "Night Gallery" (1970), Rod Serling introduces three separate paintings, each with its own story of uncanny vengeance against evil to tell. The first involves a black sheep nephew (Roddy McDowall) who murders his rich uncle to inherit his fortune - both much to the detriment of the uncle's butler (Ossie Davis) - only to find that vengeance extends beyond the grave. In the second story, a rich, heartless woman (Joan Crawford) who has been blind from birth blackmails an aspiring surgeon and a man who desperately needs money to give her a pair of eyes which will allow her to see for the first time - even though for only half a day's time - only to have the plan backfire on her in ways she never imagined. In the third story, a Nazi war criminal (Richard Kiley) is hiding from the authorities in South America, where he is confronted with his past demons and a curious Holocaust survivor (Sam Jaffe) and finds solace only in a serene painting in a museum, wanting nothing more to enter into that world and stop running.
YouTube might have the complete segment titled "The Cemetery". Here's Part 1:

This is my favorite of the three. By the way, it's a man instead of a woman, and he's not trapped in the house. I don't think anyone has remade this story, but I'll check on it.
