Before you go poking around at anything you're not sure what the cause is, take your car to Autozone or Advanced or any auto store and have them read your check engine code. That should at least point you in the right direction. How long has it been doing this? What did you clean the throttle valve with? If it was a flammable chemical, it could be making it's way into the combustion chamber and igniting, resulting in a high idle. An excellent place to start would be the engine code though.

First of all, locate, remove, and clean your IDLE AIR CONTROL VALVE. I always recommend using Amsoil Foaming Cleaner and Gum-out for this job. You can run these chemicals through a running engine and remove unwanted deposits from O2 sensors and converters. You're on the right track by cleaning your throttle body, just go a little bit deeper. You can reset the computers on most Nissan products by turning the key on and off 5-6 times, waiting 5 seconds in between. Good luck!!

You may have knocked an air line off, have a look around where you were work for lines off.

But also you have cleaned throttle which was probably dirty so you may need to turn the idle down with the screw on the side of the throttle cable.

And make sure the cable has not been pulled tight which will also do it.

I bet it is your intake gaskets. My engine had a high idle and it was messing with my tranny. I couldn't figure it out. Then one day, I went outside to start my car and it wouldn't turn over. The gaskets had been compromised and the fluids fill the chambers. Long story short, new gaskets, no high idle, runs beautifully.

it might be the idle air control sensor or the throttle body needs cleaning out inside.

Mass air flow sensor in the throttle body perhaps. I hope you didn't use a silicone based cleaner like wD40,, it will kill both your MAFS and your oxy sensor.
