Why all the czars and who's paying their salaries?

Because OBAMA HIMSELF is the want appointing and wanting all these Czars. He HAS circumvented the checks and balances within our Government. I don't like it at all, and neither should any American. He now has some 40, YES 40 CZARS...........shadow government?? YOU BETCHA

The Czars are people appointed by the Obama administration to specialize in a particular area the federal government pays their salaries.

Reagan started the Czars Reagan had 4 they are necessary because the basic cabinet isn't enough for specialty area's.

The money comes out of the Executive Branch operating budget. The czars are just the press's word for a new high-level position that concentrates on an area that covers several departments. Cheaper than adding cabinet positions.

It is Obama's attempt to form a shadow cabinet that is answerable only to him. In the days of Stalin this was called a "cult of personality". Hitler did the same thing when he surrounded himself with his lackeys.

As for who pays for these flunkies ?

We do with our taxes just like we pay for all the members of the Clown College we call Congress.

It may be cheaper but at least the other way they would have go through the comfirmation process & be vetted by Congress.

I'd rather go with the way it's written in the Constitution.

And they don't have to cabinet level, they can be Under Secretary positions. Those also have to be cleared through Congress.

I heard this morning it was 34 Czars and he has them for these reasons.

1) They answer only to him

2) They do not have to go through the Congressional Approval Process

3) They can come from any walk of life with no experience outside of allegiance to his agenda

and you pay for this, your tax dollars pay a salary from 100,000 to 172,000, plus their staff and a travel budget (there's your hope and change)

I want to know where is the senate confirmations on these CZARS? And how is it that most have criminal records?

Oh and the federal government pays their salaries by collecting more taxes from the American people.

Appointing czars usurps the system, they are hired by Obama and answer only to Obama and you and I are paying for them...they only have to be approved by Obama.
