No, we are so stupid we think the US has always had pure capitalism and so became the greatest economic power in the world.

Do you realize that pure socialism is communism? Communism is an excuse for Dictatorships. Look at Cuba, North Korea, Stalin, Mao they re dictatorships with a Communist model. Venezuela's Hugo Chavez is pushing Socialism and trying to make himself leader for life. I would prefer full CAPITALISM over COMMUNISM
