A few questions about my Las Vegas Trip?

My husband and I (mid 20s) are going to Vegas at the end of September and staying at the MGM.

We have a couple of questions....

1) Is it best to buy show tickets once we get there or should we get them online before we leave?

2) Do most restaurants require reservations? If so, how far in advance do we need to book them?

3) What is the best club to go to during the week? We like dancing and being crazy....lots of action!

4) Have you tried the $20 sandwich trick to get an upgrade at MGM....did it work?

Thanks in advance!

Update:

One more thing.....is September a good time to visit Las Vegas? weather, crowds, cheapness?

1.) Wait till you get there to buy your tickets at the Half off booths. They are all over the town.

2.) Yes, restaurants do require reservations, but you should be able to make reservations the day before or day of.

3.) Well, now that Prive has closed down. I would say PURE at Caesars. It is always a happening place.

4.) The $20 sandwich trick doesnt work. If they have rooms available they will upgrade you for no additional charge. They want you to have a good time while you are there so that you will come back and stay with them!!!

September is a good time to visit, it is still very HOT! If you are going midweak it will not be super busy depending on what conventions are there.

Unless you have a specific show you want to see I would wait until getting here and use Tix4tonight. Why pay full price when you can get them for about half.

The fancier restaurants do require reservations. Call in the morning for dinner reservations.

Studio 54 or Tabu are both in the MGM Grand and are great choices for cllubs.

During the week it might work but not on weekends as it fills up fast.

September and October is the best weather here in Vegas. The temperatures are near perfect in the 80's and 90's during the day an in the 70's and 60's at night. However that is when the crowds swell and prices rise.

    1) September is a great time to visit Las Vegas. The pools are still open and it's not as hot as July and August.

    2) MGM Grand is a great place to stay.

    3) You can buy show tickets ahead of time or wait till you get to Vegas. It all depends on what show you want to see. Cirque Du Soleil shows I will recommend buying ahead of time. Most other shows, wait till you get to Vegas and buy your tickets from the half price ticket booths. http://www.lasvegas-how-to.com/discount_show_ticke...

    4) Yes, most of the high end restaurants require reservations or you are going to end up waiting up to an hour. Buffets on the other hand do not.

    5) The $20 sandwich trick never works...trust me on this one. First there are no free upgrades on the weekends. Weekdays, there is a 10% chance you will be upgraded for free.

    6) Studio 54, LAX, TAO, Pure are all great clubs to visit. Here is a list of clubs and what days they are open.

show tickets at the concierge when you get here. best method.

reservations on weeekdns and in a soft economy . not to worry you will not be stuck on line.

clubs. blue martini at town swuare mall you will love it off the hook. 1/ 2 price happy hour from 4-8 pm. it is on Lv Blvd down from Mandalay Bay. same side by movie house. ..... it is great and food is wonderful.

the $20 give up on that people value their jobs today and will not risk it for someone with a $20. Do you have a $100 maybe it will be considered.

    enjoy your trip.

1 Either but you take the chance of not getting the time and date you want

    2 The fancy ones do

3 Clubs are clubs, very expensive

4 NO that is a wives tale. The hotel clerk has NO control

    Perfect, best weather
