Looking for material fabric bolts that are 70 to 72 inches wide. Where can I buy this?
I'm doing a project and would like to use a single piece of material that is 70-72 wide instead of sewing multiple smaller pieces together. Polyester is my material of choice. Also, fabric having water resistant properties would be nice.
Names, phone numbers, addresses and website links would really be appreciated.
This has been like searching for the Holy Grail. Your help is urgently needed. Thanks to all in advance.
to pissy old lady:
That's pretty close to the info I have been looking for. They do say however that they do not sell to the general public. Do you have any other sources for me to check with?

Brocade ribbon may be the solution. The reference to Jelly Rolls did not emphasize that this is a quilting term for pre-cut cotton strips. You can have the fabric of your choice cut to the width you want. 2/36" would be 1/18 of a yard. If you purchase 1/4 yard (8") you would have enough fabric to cut 4 strips @ 2" x the width of the fabric. Online stores sometimes require a minimum yardage purchase and then there is the cost of shipping and handling. Visit local fabric shops (including Hobby Lobby) and look though the special occasion and bridal fabrics as well as home dec as will as the selections of brocade ribbon. Brocade is usually 45 - 54 inches wide, so you will have plenty to experiment with.

JoAnn Fabric and Craft Store. They have materials that are 72" wide and some of the material is exterior material. If you want to, use a scotch guard spray on any material and you will have a water barrier. I believe the web site for Joann's is http://www.joann.com./ Best of Luck!
