Turn off the TV and never buy newspapers I don't buy the later anyway the telly is just out of habit for the visual kicks and silly wheezes, I know it spurts nonsense. However, many people are still believers they feel they need to believe in something because their lives are so sad, and need to have something interesting in it even if its absolutely anything that's put in front of them, this is the problem.

I digress, people need to have more peace to think deeply and be themselves to learn from theirselves before judging others, but society is forcing others way of life down our throats and I do believe many feel they have to fit into the mould for fear of looking the odd one out.

The truth will set us free.

The problem is, how do we determine what is truth and what isn't? We could compare our idea of truth with the universe and see if they match. The problem with that is that we are using faulty equipment--our brains, eyes, etc--to do these comparisons. Even if our idea of truth matches up nicely with the universe, how do we know if our perception of the universe is complete or accurate. We are our own greatest deceiver.

Perhaps all we will ever have is the pursuit of truth.

I would stop watching TV especially the news and stop reading newspapers they are full of fear. Try meditation it gives inner peace & calm. Also mantras can help with positive thought.

If we travel and study other cultures we can see the influence of the media's cultural programing.

To see ourselves from someone elses perspective.

    With introspecion.

On then can we change our ways.

read all the things that seem repulsive and/or foreign, talk to all the people that seem unreasonable and sound like they talk nonsense, look at all the things you would never even want to admit exist.
