Cash for Clunkers Math?

They ran out of $1000000000 (billion) in less than one week. Let's say $4000 a car, that comes to 250000 (quarter of million) cars sold. Really! or where did the money go? and they want to put in another 2 billion.

The car dealer up the street has a parking lot specifically for cash for clunkers vehicles people turned in (I think they're showing the cars off). There were like 30 cars in that parking lot alone that had paint on the windshield saying CFC NOT FOR SALE!

My question is how many of those cars are American cars?

I would be able to answer that but the transparent Obama administration refuses to release the information and their excuse is that they don't have the information organized yet, but somehow they are able to pull out statistics that bolster their position.

The program was SET at $1 billion, it wasn't forecasted to last a certain period of time.

A lot of Republican Congressmen voted for it.

It's a raving success. 250,000 cars is pretty damn good.
