Is there going to be a 'Halo' movie coming out in 2011?

If anyone knows details or a website where I can keep track of it, I would be much appreciated. I am a huge fan of Halo and of gaming in general.

Yes Peter Jackson was going to do it. And Yes he didn't because he didn't District 9 Instead. Basically the whole Halo movie went way over Budget just doing the trailer for it. So the scrapped it and used the money to do District 9.

ahh, the mysterious "HALO movie" it's been an on again off again type of thing from the get go. As of right now there are no plans to make a halo movie. anything you hear is a rumor and should be discarded, unless a production company or Bungie says other wise. yes i know it sucks.
