Is hair color actually good for you hair or does it damage it?

Does hair color actually improve the texture/health of your hair, or does it make it break off and mess up the natural color and texture?

I think it depends on your hair type as to how damaging it is, if you have very fine hair and use a really strong hair dye it will probably be worse than if you have tougher hair using a less harmful one. but i dye my hair and its always fine, they key is just to use alot of conditioner and your hair will probably be absolutely fine :) Semi-perminant hair colours are much less harmful and bleaches are much much more harmful.

sure, artificial items should badly effect to hair health. use natural items (like henna for black hair only)

its obvious that hair colour does never improves ur hair in any way but only destroys it

ur hair will start breaking off and it may turn ur hair white

it spoils one,s hair though it is nice to look

the hair starts breaking from the day u apply colors and u will never get ur original natural hair back like wat was it before

  • i know everyone says it damages your hair, but every time i am done coloring my hair is super smooth and all shiny and beautiful, and i colour it myself so its not because of the stylest.
