For career minded LGBT....? (speciffically Trans but et.al)?

IF you were given an opportunity to retrain into a new career and the transition would be less of a concern, what would your ideal opportunity to help others and also promote safe behavior and treatment of everyone? (All "men" were created equal- Im thinking psychology and/or history teacher- Im in the finance and investment sector now).

And no selling myself or drugs is not an option I am extremely passable prior to SRS- therefor preop.

Update:

I'm saying I was born with Klinefelter's and my parents artistic expression went against what is now known in medicine, that 80% lean female and my body matches. I would like to think I am attractive and my job means I get hit on alot but regardless- I am primarily lesbian transsexual.

Update 2:

I have been fighting to finish my psych degree but it seems hate startes so much younger. I have my AA in psychology and my BA in Sociology and World Religion...I just want to turn life around for our community. I am expecting a settlement for an accident and I want to open a safe house for LGBT teens and young adults (and the young children of displaced LGBT families in the US)- I just think I dream too big.

Update 3:

RadGal- that is one of my biggest problems. The career I am presently in has lost an enormous amount of appeal and now I am working multiple part time jobs and living with a friend just to squeeze by and it has taken adjustment.

I found out in addition to Klienefelters and several other issues that following fighting breast cancer, I developed additional medical conditions and it seems no one is really prepared to be there for Trans or understands quite the way a Trans does. Thanks for the advice- my hometown is out of question but the city I went to college in the first go around is my dream location. :o)

    Oh definitely go into psychology! The world needs more psychologists, especially ones who know and understand what it means to be transgendered.

    Unfortunately, finance and investment sector is a club for penis-people, as you may well know.

    Also you get more bank as well as good karma points for becoming a psychologist.... can't hurt... best revenge on the naysayers is to live well!
