IF you were approached with Christianity in a non-judgmental forum...?

online, would you consider attending? And yes I open it up for trolls who will open their minds and their hearts to Biblical proofs and allow discussion but not debate.

Update:

Not looking to start a church, cult, sect or following but I find both LGBT and trolls who are unfamiliar with the texts and the texts trolls use seem to cause LGBT to think G-d is against them.

Update 2:

I think what we find too often is that people confuse dogma for Christianity and in a safe environment, not necessarily online it is beneficial to communicate and educate one another.

    No, I wouldn't.

My reasons for not believing in Christianity are not because I have felt judged or have been pushed against joining because of the actions of people who are Christian. While yes, I've met the crazy, angry Christians like everybody else, my primary experience with Christians is them being nice and accepting.

I've read the Bible more times than many Christians have and know it backwards and forwards. My reasons for not believing in Christianity, along with any other religion, is mainly moral and intellectual. I find Christianity not only completely illogical, but there are many morals and ideas contained in the Bible that I completely disagree with.

However, it's nice that you're willing to do this. LGBT people do face a lot of anger in churches, so this is a nice idea.

For your information, I am very very familiar with the texts of the bible. I was a sunday school teacher, way back when. Back when I was completely miserable and unhappy.

It wasn't until I let go of religion that my life really opened up and bloomed. I accepted myself for who I was, everything.

I think it is very kind of you to open your mind up to the possibility that there are other people who would like to attend a prayer group or what not without being accused of having sin that will send you straight to Hell if you don't repent at that exact moment.

I think you would be surprised at how many lgbt people who are of faith there are in this world. Just because they are lgbt does not mean they dont know God. Some are tired of his teaching being misinterpreted wrongly and steer clear of his path.

I am atheist and proudly so though I am respectful to those who have faith I don't like to be preached to. Respect is a two way street.

  • As a Christian, I would consider it. Warily. When we're in an online setting, people tend to say the most extreme, most hurtful things because they can hide behind the anonymity of the computer.

I would rather something like this be moderated in a facility where I can see the other people & the other people can see me during our discussions. We need to see each other as fellow human beings, as PEOPLE, for the visual impact that we are REAL people livin Life.

And you can't do that online.

It isn't entirely fair to anyone who is trying to escape christians. I would say for the most part, keep your religion to yourself unless asked for your opinion.
