I need help on mice breeding.?
I have a rosy boa that eats 2-3 pinkies a week and two ball pythons that eat a full size mouse every 1 1/2 weeks. I would like to start breeding mice myself instead of overpaying at the pet store, but I don't have any Idea where to start or how many mice I would need to start off w/. Any info would be much appreciated! Thank you

since you only have three snakes i would just start off with two or three female mice and one male. You will need at least two 20 gallon tanks. One for the mother and baby's and one for breeding. You will need pine or aspen bedding. BTW the mice stink. each tank needs food bowls and water bottles. MIce are canables they will eat each other and their babys. When the babys get older seperate the males cause they will fight and kill each other. They breed rapidly. You will over populate quickly. So when you want to quit the breeding process seperate the males from females.. If you have any questions Dont hestitate to email me at callmegoddess80@aol.com or message me on www.extremeserpents.com good luck

you need 2 females for every male. so in your case get 4 females and 2 males.
you can keep them in a 15 gallon tank. get some shavings, keep it nice and warm (put tank near window with sun or heater). lots of protein for the femailes. 2-3 good hiding spots in the tank. water bowl. that is about it. separate the babies when they pop out so they dont eat them.
