What colour purse would look good with a black and white dress?

The dress is black and white- black from the waist down, white from the waist up, with a big white ruffle going across the body. (It looks good but sounds weird)

And I got black shoes, and black simple dangly earrings?

What colour purse would look best with this? Neutral metallic colour or a bright colour or black?

I was thinking maybe doing lined eyes and red lipstick, but not sure- never done this look before. Feel free to comment on that too!
