Realistically he would not have 4. Shaq was the main guy on that team for years. Kobe getting 4 on his own without Shaq at a young age is very unlikely. Every player needs compliment players. He wasn't going to win with just him and Rick Fox, Fisher and Horry. They barely won 2 of those titles. One they were down in a game 7 to Portland in the west finals and had to storm back led by Shaq by the way and the other was a fixed series against the Kings that they had no right to win. Being a realist he is lucky to have the 4 he has.

Its impossible to tell. If shaq wasn't there, kobe would have probably averaged 38ppg to 40ppg in a few seasons etc.... It is also possible that other great players could have ended up on the Lakers to help Kobe, but without Shaq, Kobe would still have around 2-3 championship at worst.

Well he didn't play with Shaq last season and won. As I've told people countless of times, Shaq and Kobe needed each other to win those championships. I don't think neither one would have won without the other on that that particular team.

If you mean "take out shaq and replace his $25 mil with a F.A. or two that would've been picked up", then 2-3
If you mean just take shaq off the team with no replacement for the money/talent lost, 1, maybe 2.
Still, you could ask this questions for just about any legends rings.
Would Jordan have won 6 rings without Pippen? No
Would Bird have won 3 rings without McHale, Parish, etc.? No
Would Magic Johnson have won 5 rings w/o Kareem, Walton, etc. ? No
Hopefully you get my point.
You're stupid if you think he would still have four though. Shaq's a top 15 player of all time.

He'd probably still have four. Although it depends on who would've been at the center position if it wasn't Shaq. If it was another talented player, he'd still have four. Those championship teams weren't all about Kobe and Shaq, they needed everyone.

It is utterly absurd to think Kobe would still have 4 rings without Shaq. Even 3 rings is ridiculous. 2 is a little crazy. Shaq was the major force on that three-peat team. He was what made that team so unstoppable. Kobe's life was made exceedingly easier because teams were focused on trying to stop, or even slow down Shaq. He would have the one championship he won last year and that is it.

2 for sure... maybe 3... but he's best year was 2001 so I don't think that team would beat the Spurs without Shaq... but the cores of history changing, Kobe could have won more if someone else was on that team and still was.... like KG, Nash, any other star!
GO LAKERS!!!

Yes. He would have 4 championships like he has today.
It would have been harder though.
Think about it, Shaq Made 25 mil with the Lakers. If he was gone we could have gotten 2 big men
But... If we lost Shaq and get nobody, then he may have gotten only 1 the year we played the 76ers

Shaq doesn't win without Kobe and Kobe doesn't win without Shaq.
Shaq doesn't without Wade and Kobe doesn't win without Pau.
You can't discredit a player of championships they won because you don't like them. Not saying you don't like either of them but that is the arguement many people use.

I love Kobe but he would not have 4 without Shaq. However Shaq would not have 4 without Kobe.
