Who else thinks that Jason Statham would be a great 007?

He is very nice to look at and great in comedies, but he seems to lack the sauve speach that the rest have. Forget 007, give ME Frank Martin!!!!

Nope. He does not seem like a Bond. He is not smooth at all. He tries to be but there is always a hint of ruggedness in him. I never liked Daniel Craig as Bond but I'd take him anyday versus Statham. Besides, Statham an *** who thinks that he is the best actor there is. Ever heard of him going at paparazzi? I know they tend to be annoying but he does not have to hit them. Best James Bond of this generation is IMO Brosnan.

I am not a Craig fan and although I like Statham I don't think he is right for Bond. I wish they had gotten Clive Owen for the role to be honest.

As for the other bonds all have been great and to be fair they where great in there day and the action suited there time also,modern action has changed and the character has changed over time.

He seems like more of a tougher fighter than a sophisticated Bond-type.

Ummm...Statham shouldn't be allowed to act in any movie much less a Bond film...and there will never be a better Bond then Pierce Brosnan...sorry, just my opinion
