Days of Our Lives...anyone else is disappointed?

I'm very upset about Passions of our Lives. :(

Yeah with John & Marlena, Patch, Kayla, Max & Chelsea gone & the absence of Alice H. (probably sue to Frances Reid having real health problems since she's 94 years old) Days isn't the same show I started watching 18 years ago.

I don't like how they're pairing together former Passions actors either ( Brady & Arianna or "Ethan & Theresa".) I guess it had more viewers than I thought & Passions fans complained to NBC or something. That was a lame show. I only watched it b/c it came on after DOOL.

The only reason I'm watching still is I like Ol Victor K. & Vivian Alamain is returning & I can't wait to see her again since she's Kate's arch enemy & I can't stand Kate above all others like Chloe or Nicole LOL.

I haven't watched Days hardly any in the past year, but it mostly ended for me when Shawn and Belle left. Even more when Jason Cook left as Shawn before that. I know I wasn't very old, but I remember coming home from middle school and watching Days and it was so good! I miss the days of Shawn, Belle, Mimi, Rex, Cassie, Philip, and Brady.

The National Debt has been rising every single year. Each presiding president didn't think it was that important. Now, we are at record breaking deficits that may never be recoverable. I'm wondering why the Constitution didn't address the governing of the country without excess debt? We, the people, cannot rack up such a debt in governing our own finances.

I know just what your saying. All of the characters are somewhat new, (within a few years) and the old ones have died off, left or have their roles drastically reduced. I feel like we're watching a bunch of teenagers (no insult intended). It's just not the old "Days" I'm familiar with.

I watch ALL of the soaps that are on right now...and every soap that I watch...the character is from a different soap

Now Theresa..Ethan..Luis all X Passion people....so no Days is not like Days anymore....you can find more Days people on ATWT.

And with all the teen story lines it is more geared for the summer with kids being off of school (I hope)

One thing that never changes is Sami...she still has her problems and crys about everything.

I like the old days better too. Lucas and Sami, I miss them two together, John and Marlena, I remember the first time I watched that show, Bo and Carly were together and Vivian had buried Carly alive...that was along time ago. I miss all the old characters, I watched a lot when it was Shawn and Belle, Mimi and Philip, they need to watch reruns to see how its done, lol.

yes i agree with you 100% days isn't the same as it used to be what happened to all the vets??? why don't they bring them back and give them some decent story lines instead of writing the same story lines for the younger characters its starting to turn into a teen show and im not really enjoying it and why don't they give the few vets that are still on there a story line and i know how you feel i don't know why they killed off grace i hope the truth comes out of what nicole did soon im getting tired of waiting ..... BRING BACK THE OLD DAYS!!!!!

I actually like it right now. Rafe took part in killing Emily, Chloe might die and we don't know who will get the blame, i even kinda like Melanie now and the whole thing with Phillip and Stephanie. EJ about to catch Nicole in her lies. And i like that cocky new little intern. Who are Ethan and Teresa?

i love it right now. it's REALLY good with all the storylines in it. I hate that it's taking so long, but then again that's what makes me want to watch it even more. I want to know what happend that was sooo bad with Emily and Rief and what's gonna happen with Daniel and Chloe, especially now that it looks like Chloe is waking up. ugh. can't wait for monday.

I love it can't wait for EJ to find out what ol' nasty Nicole has to with Sami's and his baby.
