I need to break an apartment lease three months early because of my ill father across the country.?
My fathers doctor is willing to write a letter to our lender company, but is there anyway it will affect my credit? My mother can't take care of him full time all by herself and can't afford a nurse.

That sux about your dad but is there anything written in your lease about that? If not you are stuck with the rent - I would suggest subletting but for 3 months who will want to?

Probably not, but it might hurt your ability to rent again in the future because there are other bureaus that keep track of your renting reputation (not the same as the credit bureaus).
But it would probably affect your credit if the worst happened and you ended up in some kind of lawsuit with the landlord.
So get the doctor's letter and talk to your landlord, hopefully they will be understanding.
If they won't budge, you could probably get out of the problem just by paying rent for the last 3 months even though you're moving out early.

sounds strange to me...like you don't have a "lender" company when you have an apartment lease.
However if you are not in the US then I'd suggest you negotiate it. Usually a landlord will let you out of an apartment lease if you give a good reason and you're willing to pay for 30 days and let them keep your deposit. It should not affect your credit report if you follow the rules, and if you negotiate it with your landlord.

If you have a lease, you will have to pay for the balance of the lease. However, if you discuss your situation with the landlord, especially if you have a letter from the doctor, perhaps they will make an exception.

All you can do is ask but they don't have to let you out of it. You could sub lease if they will let you but I think you will pretty much be stuck paying for it.
But, it's no big deal since you will be living with your mom so you won't have to pay rent there and you will just have to get a job.

your family comes first. yes you will get bad credit. but you have to do what you have to do. just talk to the people. may be that they will understand. but don't count on it.
