Why is it in the U.S.we pay state taxes, federal taxes, sales taxes?
and when you have to go to the hospital they have the @#$% to ask if you have insurance! Shouldn't your W2 be your insurance card? And when you pay for insurance you have a co-payment/deductible.It's not right. Not in what's supposed to be a FREE country.

Your tax money does not go toward your medical expenses. The biggest chunk of taxes you pay goes to the armed forces. The next biggest piece goes to all the myriad of social programs available to the poor, the homeless, the elderly.
Most countries in the world use tax money to provide health care, but not the US. In order to provide free health care, taxes will need to rise, which is a choice the American people have not made yet.

A "FREE" country doesn't mean you get everything for free. It actually means you can make personal choices without government interference.
When employers can expect employees to work for "free" is when employees can expect all goods and services for "free." Then, while everything would be "free," it would no longer be a "FREE" country.

you pay all three because the money goes to different places. you pay state and sales taxes because the federal government doesn't pay for the states budget.

i think you misunderstood what "free country" means.
if everything was free no one would do any work, then it wouldn't matter that it was free because there would be no one to do it.
