IT IS THE SAME THING YOU JACKA**ES. Their both a business that cover you in case something happens based on a monthly payment. If people could get covered for something before they had the insurance then why carry insurance? Just pick it up when you need something and drop it after you get it fixed. You really think that will work, or do you think it would drive insurance companies out of business????? THINK ABOUT IT.

No. Coverage starts on the date you sign up. Any damage before that date is not covered.

Comparing car to health insurance, the main difference is that everybody has pre-existing conditions. If we exclude those, nobody would qualify for insurance, ever. Just look at the number of people with corrected vision or allergies. if those people were refused on those grounds, nearly half of America would be disqualified.

It relies upon on how long you had the automobile. in case you acquire it the day of the twist of destiny, you're able to cajole the insurance business company which you have been on a thank you to purchase the insurance while the twist of destiny surpassed off. whether that isn't any longer on the comparable day, you will probable be out of success. additionally, you reported you registered it, yet in each and every state that i be attentive to of, you need to show data of insurance while registering a automobile. in the experience that your father extremely registered it, he ought to have had insurance then canceled it. if it is the case, you're truthfully screwed. you have another out. in case you probably did no longer get a value tag for no insurance, and if the female have been given a value tag for hitting you, you have the flexibility to get her insurance business company to pay for the damages.

Sure, you can buy insurance after your accident. It just won't do you any good in regards to your accident.

Auto insurance and health insurance are not the same thing. But you knew that, and only want to start an argument. It's an argument that you can't win.

You keep trying to manipulate this into an anti-healthcare reform question.

    It is stupid.

god willing, you will never have to fight for health care. If this fails, you eventually will, when you leave home and have to actually take care of yourself.

It will be sad, but we told you so.

Well NSA, he raises a good question.

Why should I pay premiums every month when I'm healthy? Why not wait until I'm diagnosed with something I can't afford, and then go get insurance. According to Obama himself, insurance companies will not be allowed to turn me down for a preexisting condition.

    What's the difference?

    There is none.

And the reason it won't work for automobiles is the same reason it won't work for humans.

Are you serious?? In my state, its against the law to even drive without insurance.

Talk about apples and oranges. You don't HAVE TO drive if you can't afford it

My house burned down last night. I am thinking of getting insurance on it tomorrow for them to pay for the repair.
