Children's craft items?

Hi,

I am creating an Art and Craft hamper for a 4 year old and am looking for somewhere that does a big tub of different craft items in one (such as feathers, ribbon, buttons, foam shapes, stickers, beads, pom poms, pipe cleaners, sequins etc) at a reasonable price.

I have looked on ebay already and there doesn't seem to be any mixed/assorted tubs of craft items just individual pieces.

Any suggestions would be great!

Thanks!

I usually use the website below for odds and ends for craft stuff, I recently did a kit up for my neice like you are describing. I use handy hippo if I want a lot of items [I am also a Guide/Brownie leader so find the prices reasonable]

If you have a local haberdashers/craft shop they may sell loose bit for you to use, a touch cheaper buying little bits of a variety of things.

If you live in the UK, hobbvycraft are pricey but have a great selection, or the Range is very reasonable for bits, but it's not as nice quality.

hi, i got a set for my daughter from tesco which had lolly sticks, pompoms, pipe cleaners, ribbon and lots more. i got it instore but they have lots of craft kits on the website too. i also get her bits from hobbycraft especially if they are in the sale. she started with a craft box and now has a craft cupboard!! also try your local freecyle group as you can request items you are looking for and if people have what you are after they will contact you by email. the websites are below. hope this is of some help.

    www.direct.tesco.com

    www.hobbycraft.co.uk

www.freecycle.org and select uk and your local one

If you don't find what you like at any of the craft store chains, try teachers' supply stores - it's amazing what kinds of things they carry.
