Repair scratches on new car?

I've put quite a few scratches on my new car since I'm a beginning driver. Should I wait to have them repaired?

Wax is a last-step product and provides protection. I will not remove scratches.

To remove scratches, depending on the severity of them, you will most likely need to use a car polisher like a Porter Cable 7424, or possibly a Makita 9227. I have seen a kit at ProperAutoCare.com with the Porter Cable that includes Meguiars polishes that should help you remove scratches.

Be aware, though, that you'll still need to use a sealant or wax after you are done to protect the car's surface.
