Summer is almost here and without AC I have to use the window fan. Can anyone offer suggestions as to how to filter the air being pulled in by the fan so it doesnt make my allergies/asthma worse? Or can I buy an air purifier that fits in the window?

I have a wireless router/modem for DSL. Since it has Ethernet ports, I decided to wire it to my PC instead of going wireless for better security. Can I just remove the antenna from the modem? Are there options to completely disable the wi-fi signal via software as well?

With the introduction of HD and Blue-Ray formats, I assume DL format advancements will fall to the wayside. Add this to the fact that the DVD+/-RW format is not that popular. Just looking for an alternative media since I don't think the two new formats will become dominant anytime soon.
