Ipod shuffle will not charge?

Usually when the light turns red, I charge it on my PC, and it turns orange, then green..but this time there is no light at all. tried other Ipods and they seem to work on the dock. So its not the PC or dock. Anyone seen this before??

    Batteries don't last forever. Maybe it needs to be replaced.
