How can anyone object to a peaceful protest against radical Islam?

Unless they're a radical Islamist that is.

"You had people burning the Union flag. People were being kicked - some of them weren't anything to do with the protests. It all seemed to be very systematic - groups were arriving in cars and getting involved in the violence."

Anybody who dares stand up to the Muslims and questions their way of looking at things is going to be labelled racist and fascist, but who cares? It is turning into a joke, albeit a very bad one for this country. Name-calling is a tired old tactic of the media.

It seems a line has been drawn. Community ‘Cohesion’ Minister Shahid Malik has now announced he is going to take a much softer line on the extremist Muslims in future, and concentrate his efforts on putting down dissent in White British communities:-

“Labour slammed the brakes on its war against violent extremism yesterday - amid fears it had upset Muslim voters. Millions spent preventing Asian kids becoming terrorists will now be used to tackle right-wing racists in White areas.” This is the same Shahid Malik who lost his job as Justice Minister in the expenses scandal.

While Shahid Malik spends millions labelling the political opponents of Muslim extremism ‘right-wing racists’, Saudi billions back the spread of fundamentalist Islamic ideology in British mosques, politicizing islam and radicalizing Muslim youth. Specially-trained hard-line preachers are teaching the weakening of British democracy and resolve and the take-over of the British state, and jihad against Christians and Jews. They promote the hard-line Saudi sharia law and a world-wide Islamic government. The mosques say they are 'moderate' and promote inter-faith dialogue, but behind closed doors the message couldn't be more different. Moderate Islam itself is being displaced in Britain by this fundamentalist hard-line teaching which is especially popular with young Muslims.

It is worth reminding ourselves of just what this brand of Islam is doing in Britain, and how it is displacing moderate Islam. These Channel 4 documentaries give full details:-

We see from the documentary that putting down of British resistance by force is part of the hard-line Muslim ideology of jihad, which they look forward to, and the violent reputation of the UAF thugs is well-known. But as usual the police and media play this down, and try to stigmatize and blame the British.

It's interesting you have the article from the daily mail. Because up until the BNP legal department made a formal complaint and threatened the daily mail with legal action. The whole story was written from the perspective that the BNP were the main protagonists and had instigated the whole riot.

But as you can clearly see that were neither involved in any of the protests or indeed going by the banners from each group, were in fact objected to by both groups.

Which should tell you two things - firstly that the press in this country are almost as corrupt as the people who run it.

And - secondly that the BNP are a peaceful political organisation and these kind of animals from the UAF are the real thugs and fascists.

I read the links but I'm having trouble reconciling the articles with the phrase 'peaceful protest'.

I share the popular view with regard to the BNP but can't ignore the irony of a group which calls itself Unite Against Fascism whose stated aim is to stifle the views of another section of society. However odious those views might be, and they are extremely odious, the BNP have the right to express them and the UAF position invites ridicule.

And, the stated example notwithstanding, I genuinely admire any peaceful protest, as long as it's peaceful in the ordinary meaning of that word and not intended to create fear, hatred or violence towards other members of society.

It's The same people who object to a peaceful parade of home coming troops some on crutches and injured marching quietly through their regimental town with heads held high to the applause of the locals. The UAF are full on puff pastry violentesque reactionary scum, they deserve to be taken out to a party where they're the "guests" of honour. I'd love to introduce them to my cousin Zeek!

these protesters showed their true colours and should have been arrested or sprayed with an indelible spray and picked up after their 'protest'

it looks like any protest against islam and its violence brings out this type of scumbag

and why burn the flag of the country that feeds these people?

any who don't want to be british can go back to pakistan where most came from in the first place ...and good riddance

Source(s): the violent muslims were the issue not the original protesters....why are some people so slow to see the truth and to blame the media?

I agree and I honestly think it is OK to protest against ordinary non radical Islam as well( if such a thing exists), surely we real British can determine who and what nationality of people should be allowed to come to the UK?.

The 3,000,000 "UK" Muslim population would never have been allowed to settle here if we real British were given the chance in a referendum to say yes or no.

I do not see this as unreasonable or racist, we are overcrowded in the UK and the immigration tsunami is a demographic change of unprecedented proportions.People who came in previous centuries were from Europe not from as far away as the Indian subcontinent. Why can we not have a consensus of choice as to who lives here?

they blow many buildings near my school . it was like 30 metres away from my school . i have christian friends and we all are ok with each others . its just Al-qaeda and its followers who screw everything in this world .

The truth is the far leftist scum are much worse than the right wing. The Left make far too much tax payer money out of representing immigrants, legal or not, that come to the U.K in their millions. Look at all the legal aid and health care that is spent on them....it's a multi billion pound industry all on the British tax payer.

"You had people burning the Union flag."

    That sounds rather provocative?

Remember though we should appreciate this diversity and it did make the day very vibrant.

It's nice to know what some people think about the country that they live in.
