The 2004 St George Illawarra Dragons versus the Manly Sea Eagles game would be one of the best come from behind wins in recent history. How many teams can be losing 34 - 10 with about twenty minutes left on the clock and come back to win it 36 - 34 !! My next choice has to be the major semi-final in 1992 between the Illawarra Steelers and the St George Dragons. The Steelers won the match 18 - 16 but even though the scores ended up with only 2 points difference, the Steelers were clinical in their attack and defence, only letting in a couple of late tries from an extremely desperate Dragons squad.

The 1977 drawn Grand Final betwenn St George 9 and Parramatta 9.

If you can get a dvd watch Rod Reddy in defence especially how he targeted Ray price. A tough, hard game by two great teams, but Saints ruthless defence in that game did so much damage to the Eels that they were still suffering a week later when they lost 22 - 0.

Although I am A Dogs supporter I (think) I had a fantastic time at the Saints leagues club after their win. The sun was VERY bright when we left the next morning (lol).

For me, sentiment says it's the 81 Grand Final, as it was the first grand final that Parramatta won.

I have to agree with other fans though, that the 89 GF was a beaut.

The first game for Brisbane when they moved from Lang Park up to The ANZ stadium was a big one for me as well (would have been 1993 if my memory serves me correctly, if not it must have been '92),- Parra were going nowhere fast and we stole their housewarming match 12-8.

For wondering if anyone would score a try - the '86 slugfest GF against the Dogs (and turns out there wasn't).

The Tigers GF win in 2005 as well - first of the merged sides to win a premiership, against equal dark horses in the Cowboys (once again, I lamented the loss of a major chance... 2001 we were beaten by a hungrier, talented team in Newcastle that year).

Source(s): @ Wayne - that GF between the Eels and the Bulldogs was in '86 mate. Parra played Manly in 82 & 83 in the GFs and won them both - setting up a rivalry which continues strong to this day (earning my respect and hatred for the Sea Eagles at the same time).

Easily the best is the '99' grand final between storm and dragons, if you didnt see it or havnt heard about it, read this, it was absolutely narly, the crowd was going absolutely ballistic: In the 77th minute the Storm forced the Dragons to a goal line dropout. Melbourne's halfback Brett Kimmorley then bombed to Craig Smith's wing. Dragons centre Jamie Ainscough, anticipating a Melbourne try, caught Smith in a head-high tackle over the try-line, resulting in Smith knocking on. Referee Bill Harrigan requested video referee Chris Ward adjudicate on the decision. In one of the most infamous grand final incidents, the Melbourne Storm were granted a penalty try, drawing them level with the Dragons. Being a penalty try, the subsequent conversion was taken from directly in front of the posts. Matt Geyer was successful in the conversion and the Storm, for the first time in the match, pulled ahead of the Dragons and took out their first grand final 20-18.

3/ Eels blowing that major semi final against the dogs (98)

4/ The Origin game when Queensland score twice in the dying minutes to win (94 - think Coyne got the match winner)

    5/ KiwiJoey's (how'd I forget)

*The Raiders game in the snow against the Tigers. (actually it was lame more like the strangest game i've seen)
