Roy Halladay - considered the best pitcher in the AL right now

Vazquez - A LOT OF STRIKEOUTS, 2.90 ERA, 1.04 WHIP, WOW

Beckett - Wins, ERA, WHIP, that's what he does best.

Lee - new team, starting to look like the 2008 AL Cy Young winner again.

Verlander - The AL version of Vazquez

Billingsley is inconsistent, so is Lester, and Hamels, Dan Haren is known to do mediocre after the All Star Break, Oswalt isn't having a good year.

I'm guessing it is based on Wins, Ks, ERA, WHIP.

Beckett: He always stays healthy and having a good offense behind him allows him to get plenty of wins. He strikeouts alot of batters and maintains a low ERA and dosen't walk much, which keeps his WHIP down.

Roy Halladay: Probably the best pitcher in the AL, the Jays always seem to play well behind him, so he's a good pitcher to have for the next 3 or 4 seasons. He is also very consistent.

Lester: Going to become a stud in the next few years, much like Beckett he has a great offense behind him and he has become a dominant strikeout pitcher. Being young also allows him to pitch more than 200 innings every season. He has yet to suffer a DL stint and left handers seems to be more durable.

Cliff Lee: Going to to the Phillies will really help Lee. He faces easier line-ups and has a way way way better offense then he did in Cleveland.

Dan Haren: Yeah, he plays for a horrible team but he is simply nasty. If he played for a decent offensive team he'd be in the lead for the NL Cy Young award. His strikeouts are through the roof and he just needs some run support to become a special guy.
