Recommendations of Cities In the middle of Texas and Arkansas?
I would like some advice/suggestions/recommendations... I was thinking about moving to Texarkana, sort of a compromise? My boyfriend lives in Texas and I live in Arkansas. Neither one of us want to be a huge distance away from our family. So we decided to meet in the middle! I was personally thinking Texarkana bc it IS in the middle lol. But can you suggest surrounding cities? ya know just in case I cant find anything in Texarkana? Thank you very much appreciated!!!

It's about 70 miles off your path, but Shreveport, LA may be an option. It's a fairly large metro area (almost 500K people), there seem to be more jobs there (oil, gas, and military, I guess), they are building an interstate from there to Texarkana to connect with I-30. Just and idea....

The towns from Texarkana to Dallas are all much smaller than Texarkana, so if you can't find a job in Texarkana you probably wouldn't in the other places. Looks like one of you will have to relocate.
