Why would an athiest come and answer a question under a religious catagory?

Same reason there are no celebrities in the celebrity section. Religion covers everything from the religious to the non religious. Just because you don't like the answers doesn't mean an atheists opinion doesn't belong there. You want an answer, you get ALL answers regardless of what you want to hear.

Sigh. It's just impossible for you to use the search questions function, huh? Do you have any idea how many times this question has been asked and answered?

This sections is for debate about Religion AND Spirituality. I'm very spiritual. I venerate the human imaginative spirit. I'm a pantheist. Although to some that just makes me a "sexed up" atheist, I've been a life long student of ALL the world's religions. Why shouldn't I be here? Why shouldn't I get to discuss my hobby, the object of my fascination? If my hobby were entymology, and I collected insects, would you complain because I wasn't a bug?

Honestly, I am fine with Atheists answering a general query about religion. Just cause they don't believe doesn't mean they don't know about said faith.

Sadly, more often than not I find people come to answer queries simply to make fun of others and be nasty.

I think it just shows how messed up and sad their own life is.

There was one ID that used to LOVE answering questions, bragging about how happy and wonderful she, and her life, was, all the while spreading lies and angry remarks.

What's with the why are atheists in the R&S section questions? Can we get a counter that tallies these annoying things up?

Yeah, they're the ones all looking to get someone's goat. REAL atheists have much better things to do than sit around Y!A R&S typing the same old, same old.

I try to answer questions in the context they are put in, with my own beliefs at the bottom as a side note.

It's religion and spirituality, the latter is not always connected to religion.

I didn't realize questions about religion were so secret and only for those with blind faith.

They cant love us Christians and their belief as they as isn't a regional so good idea.

For Blue Chaos you made no sense. We have a spiritually contact with God and its a regional. Atheists have no spiritually contact and its not even a regional.

Because we have opinions ABOUT religion.

You see, this forum isn't FOR people who have religion, but for discussion concerning religious dogma, events, developments (in the rare event they occur), and history.

This forum is called Religion and Spirituality. Way to fail.
