Will you Ban the Philadelphia Eagles now that they've hired Vick?

Will you completely Ban the Philadelphia Eagles since they have hired Michael Vick? If so please elaborate and help send a statement that as Americans we will not be walked all over by big money or slick words. Ban by: 1.completely cutting out watching them on television, even if your' favorite team is playing them. 2. No merchandise purchases. 3. No visiting the team website. 4. Enjoy watching them go under for hiring such a ruthless dirt bag.

***The Eagles have made a statement that tells me what kind of people the owners are, the coaches are and possibly some players (depending on who sticks up for Vick). They are greedy, dirty, sons of b*tches that clearly care about one thing and one thing only and this will be the beginning of the end for them.

****Remember, be careful how you approach this. They will feed off the publicity, good or bad. Even bad publicity can sometimes make them money so be careful how you go about your individual protest.

Update:

Mr. Taco, how dare you say "if people really love animals they'd do this or that?" Who do you think you are, that you get to make up everyones' mind?

I'm from Philly and I'm a huge Eagles fan. I WAS watching the game. I am now watching a rerun of Real Housewives (now that is bad). I'm so disappointed in the Eagles, I just had to change the channel. Plus I'm scared for the fans. There will be protests and there will be parking lot fights (and possible fatalities - one last week at a Phils game). What were they thinking?

Philly fans are known to be hard core. I'm hoping Michael Vick gets a true Philadelphia reception. They will probably run him out of town.

This angers me so much! I've rooted for the Eagles in the past but this changes everything. I can stand the dumber decisons the Eagles have made in the past but this is unforgivable. Until Vick leaves the Eagles im showing no suppoert towards this team and hope they crash and burn to the bottom with the Lions. In the meantime I hope my home city shows Vick how we roll! We got plenty of snowballs, car batteries, and other junk with Vicks name on it.

so the NFL, let him back in huh? stupid mistake on their part. i don't care if he did his so-called time. he can't bring the dogs back that he murdered, but he can play football again! what's wrong with this picture? give him another chance? let him play!? no way.he did not do enough time for all the lives he took away, and the pain he caused. my blood boils at the very sight of him.

    go to hell mike vick!

Pfff, I'm not even supporting the NFL right now. But I'll let that particular team know that as well.

Peta and the HSUS can forgive whomever they want but that doesn't mean I respect them. They're for total animal liberation. They want our pets dead. Of course they'd support Vick!

Vick wants to be PAID to tell kids dog fighting is bad. Screw him. And screw anyone that supports that twit.

I have no problem with it, actually, for two reasons:

    1. He served his time. Deserved it, too. Glad he had to go to prison. But it is over now. Time to move on.

    2. Vick going back to the NFL is actually GOOD for dogs everywhere. He will have to be a model citizen now, and he will have to speak out for pets and be an ambassador against dog fighting. This is exactly what we need: a high profile person who has been there before to become successful once again and help make fans understand how wrong and horrible dog fighting is. Kick the guy out of the league, and he will fade into obscurity. That doesn't help dogs out one bit.

So if people REALLY love animals, they will support this guy and use his experience to promote humane treatment of animals. Even the Humane Society has taken him in. We should do the same. I know you hate him, and rightfully so, but you're missing the bigger picture.

No, he's served his time and has more to serve in the way of community service.

I do not condone or nor will I forget what he did - but I am not going to waste my time on someone who has already been punished. There are far too many more abusers out there that we need to focus on, catch, & punish. Let's put our collective time and effort behind that.

    yes!!!

people act like there little angels.... everyone deserves a 2nd chance...

he served his time in jail and he had his consequences....

mike deserves a second chance.. everyone makes mistakes in life

but i think its right to let him back.. hes a talented player, he knows what hes doing and i think it will boost philly up

people need to realize that there f**** ignorant to say that Vick shouldnt come back to the league
