Will frontline plus spot on still work if...?
you didn't apply it on the same spot?
Halfway through the application my adult german shepherd broke free and ran off. when i caught him, i couldn't find the first spot where i applied it, so i emptied the rest of the formula on a different spot, which later on i found to be like 2 inches away from the original spot. I realized that because my dog was always moving when i was applying it, some if not a lot of the formula was applied on the fur. Argh!
do you think it will still work?
I ask this because i could still find ticks on him like 3 days after the application.

It's fine. On larger dogs you are supposed to place it on several spots going down the back. The ticks will still get on & bite dog but will die. It takes a while for the dead tick to fall off. If you see one, you should remove regardless of treatment due to diseases they can carry - better soon asap.

That's fine and it will work because the liquid is absorbed into the skin and then distributed through the blood system. If he had the ticks prior to your applying the frontline plus then you will find ticks on him. It takes a while for it to kill the already established bugs. If you find a tick though you should be removing them. Most of the ticks will die after they bite into the dog.

Unless the Frontline was spilled off the dog, it will still be working. Frontline spreads from hair to hair all over the dogs body. It doesn't stay in one spot. After appling it to my dogs I try to comb it and and spread it a little so they can't lick it away!
