Not really, they are still going to play good, with or without him.
But, he is a great player.

Yes and No.
Yes - because he was playing in the same Position as Messi. And we know Barca would never bench Messi unless he's injured or fatigued. But he should gone to a team that would have played him stupid Tottenham never played him and should have sold him when Paris Saint Germain and Lyon wanted him.
No - He could have played in games like Copa De Rey and could have fought for a spot in the starting 11 for Barca. But Barca fans chose Bojan over Gio.
Hopefully Gio plays in a club where they will play him. We see he has the skills and can be a explosive player when you give him the space. Noticed that it took 2 defenders to try to stop Gio in the Mexico VS US game.

I think some "mano negra" occured
PROMOTORES
We all know Barcelona has a very good youth squad, That exports great talent. Gio was part of that. Isn't it weird how Barcelona sold him at a very young age, and for a high price. Barcelona doesn't do that with their youngsters. Barcelona lets them grow inside the team, and when their mature, they decide if they want them or not.
I think this was beyond Barcelona's hands........

No because he was the one who mess up his chance in the barcelona team. He was always partying instead of concentrating. Barcelona this past season won everything without him but Barcelona just hired his younger brother Jonathan Dos Santos who is 18 years old. So the one who mess up was him not Barcelona.

They HAD to sell him because of money issues and other stuff.
Thats also why they sold Ronaldinho.
But the choice was between selling Giovani or another young talent from spain and probably one of the fuure best players of the world named Bojar Krkic.
they kept the spaniard one.
plus they thougth he was ready for a new chalenge like the english league but then he got injured.

no, he wasnt that great back then, he needed more experience and he wasnt gonna get playing time in barca. They know what thyre doing.
If Gio keeps this level up at the world cup, Barca will let him right in again. =)

Well it sucks for Gio that Barca didn't want him, but as for Barc I guessed it worked out for them winning the Treble.
