Should I say something to a lame contractor?

I know at some point some of you have had a bad contractor and if not at some point you will. The work is good but the professionalism is a bit on the shaky side. I am painting a few rooms in my house and hired a contractor. He seemed on the up and up all the way to the day the job started. They came 20 mins early ok I expected that. But this is before 9 am and they are very loud talking (including the owner) telling pub jokes to point where we had to say keep it clean and down. They did stop but I am curious if I should give him additional feedback at the end of the job? The work is very good, but I still can't get over the fact they came in like a bunch of morons.

Sorry you got some that were crude and unprofessional. Not all are like some people think. The customer was my best source of constructive advice.. Not all construction workers are morons but some are..

Take the boss aside when the job is done and offer some feed back because he / she may not realize they were in bad taste and loud. GL

I would mention this to the contractor. Most contractors try to be as professional as possible. It can't hurt to let him know your feelings, this could help him in the future.

Interesting you describe construction workers "like morons". Fact is, they are. Construction workers are generally a rough lot, not well brought up and mostly not well educated either. The work they gave you is acceptable to you. Accept that and move on.
