How do Falcons fans feel about Vick being signed?
I, for one, am a lot more excited about the Eagles game in December than I was before ;)
I'm just wondering how they feel since he was on the Falcons, and so many Falcons fans supported him just 3 years ago..

I too am a Falcon fan and I have no problem with Vick signing anywhere.
I was never high on Vick as a quarterback but there's no doubt that at his position he was the most singular player in the league.
That said, I fully understand why Atlanta wouldn't (and honestly couldn't) sign him but his collection of abilities would have made him an IDEAL backup to Matt Ryan. Think about it---all week long teams would be preparing to face Ryan, a pure pocket passer (and an exceptional one at that). Now let's say Ryan got dinged up and had to come out of a game for a few series. That would bring Vick into the game who would bring his running into the mix and opposing defenses would most likely be ill prepared to face that.
Again, I wouldn't have brought him back to Atlanta given all that happened but nonetheless I think Vick would have fit as well with the Falcons insofar as he could help the team as he would have anywhere. In fact, I think the Eagles make about as bad a fit as possible for him because even though he doesn't do it anymore, Donovan McNabb still has a reputation of being willing to scramble so teams won't be nearly as unprepared if Vick does have to come into the game.

As a Falcons fan I am glad he signed with a team that we get to play often.
I am still pissed at what he did to the team at that time. Lied to Blank, his fellow teamates who had his back, basically made them look like fools.
